Detectives with the Portsmouth Police Department Special Victims Unit are asking for the public’s help in locating two missing teens that did not come home from school this afternoon. Detectives are searching for 13 year-old Ashleigh N. Eaton of Portsmouth and 13 year-old Edward A. Tew, Jr. of Portsmouth. Detectives consider both teens endangered because they have made threats to harm themselves. Detectives believe that Ashleigh and Edward are together.

Ashleigh N. Eaton is a white female that stands approximately 5’4”-5’5” tall and weighs between 120-130 pounds. She has blue eyes and blue hair. Ashleigh also has a nose ring and a mole on her upper lip. She was last seen wearing gothic style clothing.

Edward A. Tew, Jr. is a white male that stands approximately 5’5”-5’6” tall and weighs 130 pounds. He has blue eyes and shoulder length blonde hair. Edward was last seen wearing dark gray hoodie and dark gray pants.
