Sebastopol Police Department hosted "Coffee with a Cop" at the Petaluma Avenue Homes on Tuesday, May 24th. 
On Tuesday, May 24th, Sebastopol Police Sergeant Mike Nielsen hosted "Coffee with a Cop" at Petaluma Avenue Homes which are just north of the Sonoma West Medical Center.
Coffee with a Cop is an opportunity for residents to interact with a police officer informally, over a cup of coffee, to ask questions and share concerns.
Coffee with a Cop is just one part of the Sebastopol Police Department's efforts to enhance community connectivity. Other efforts include the Department's ride-along program, the annual Department Open House, Police Department hosted community barbeques at West Hills Circle and the Gravenstein Highway North Apartments, the Department's participation in the Sebastopol Area Community Alliance, the School Resource Officer Program, bicycle rodeos at local schools, and the Citizens' Police Academy. Dates for this year's Citizens' Police Academy will be released soon.
