On May 25, 2016 at 2352 hours, the Burlington Police Department responded to Catherine St for a report of a male subject walking down the street trying car door handles. Upon arrival the male was rummaging through a vehicle parked in the roadway belonging to a resident of that street whom the suspect did not know. The suspect, Adam Fogg, was arrested for attempted larceny from a motor vehicle and found to be in possession of various suspected stolen items.
Police are asking that anyone from that area that may be missing any items from their vehicles, please contact the police at 802-540-2278. A photograph has been attached to this report.
The penalty for petit larceny shall be punished by a fine of not more than $1,000.00 or imprisonment for not more than one year, or both.
