Correction to Thursday Press Release. 
On Thursday May 26, 2016 a press release was sent out about an assault on an officer case titled,
“Officer Assaulted with Coffee Cup”
In that statement the name of the suspect was listed as 37 year old Mark Sanchez of Anderson. The correct name of the suspect is Mark Rodriguez.
The Anderson Police Department would like to apologize for this error and any inconvenience it may have caused.
