THIRD PRECINCT ADVISES OF TRAFFIC/ROAD CLOSURES ON SATURDAY JUNE 4, 2016 AND SUNDAY JUNE 5, 2016 FOR UPCOMING EVENTS. 
Please be advised of traffic/road closures in these areas due to community events:
SATURDAY JUNE 4, 2016:
Brentwood - The annual Brentwood Cultural Street Festival will be held on Saturday June 4, 2016. Suffolk Avenue will be closed from Madison Avenue/2nd Street to Washington Avenue/Brentwood Road from 9 AM to 8 PM.
Bay Shore - The Judi Shesh Memorial 5K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday June 4, 2016 . Roads will be closed in the area south of Main Street from Bayway Avenue to South Clinton Ave from 8 AM to 11 AM.
SUNDAY JUNE 5, 2016:
Islip - The Annual Islip Street Festival will be held on Sunday June 5, 2016. Main Street will be closed from Ocean Avenue to Rte 111 from 11 AM to 6 PM.
Brentwood/Bay Shore - The Puerto Rican Day Parade will be held Sunday June 5, 2016. Fifth Avenue will be closed from Spur Drive North to Pine Aire Drive from 11 AM to 3 PM.
Motorists are advised to expect delays in these areas and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
