The District continues to receive heavy rainfall. Since 4:30pm we have received approxiamitely 6 inches of rain through out South Montgomery County and Northern Harris County. Crews have responded to multiple stranded motorist. We ask that you remain off the roads and do not drive into any high water. If you are in an area that has flooded over the last month, have a plan to leave based on the water levels you have seen in the recent past. Your Fire Department remains ready to respond should you need us but ask for your help and not putting yourself in harms way as the sun goes down and the water levels become harder to judge.
