The City of Sausalito's Disaster Preparedness Committee will be hosting a Neighborhood Disaster Preparedness meeting on Saturday, June 4. This gathering is being hosted in conjunction with the Sausalito Police Department, Southern Marin Fire Protection District and the Southern Marin Citizen Emergency Response Team (CERT). The meeting will take place at Fire Station 1 at 333 Johnson Street from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Hot dogs, chips, and drinks will be provided.

The goal of the meeting is to educate the public on the importance of preparing to respond to disasters and emergencies. Residents will learn that by working together they can enhance their safety and ability to prepare for and recover from earthquakes, fires, landslides and other types of disasters. Educational material will be made available to all participants.
