APD Pet Supply Drive June 18-27

Not all dogs are as well fed and cared for as APD's K-9, T-Bone. That's why the Anacortes Animal Control Unit is hosting its semi-annual pet supply drive again this year from June 18th-27th.

Donations can be brought to the Anacortes Police Department or to the Bark in the Park event held at Storvik Park in Anacortes on Saturday, June 18th.

The items you donate will benefit the following local animal relief and support organizations:

-Anacortes Animal Relief Fund (AARF)

-The Cat's Meow

-Saving Pets One at a Time (SPOT)

-Skagit Valley Human Society

Wish List:

* Dry Dog and Cat food - all organizations are in great need of cat food!

* Canned Dog and Cat Food 

* Dog and Cat Treats 

* Beds/Blankets/Towels (gently used condition is okay!) 

* Cat Litter and litter pans 

* Dog and Cat Toys 

* Cleaning supplies: Liquid laundry detergent, Dish Soap, Clorox

* Cleaning Wipes, baby wipes, 33 gallon black garbage bags, 13 gallon kitchen garbage bags and Paper Towels 

* Monetary Donations: checks made out to the specific organization or cash will be accepted at the Bark in the Park event
