Saturation Patrol Nets Two Impaired Drivers
Knox County – Last night and early this morning, Indiana State Police conducted a saturation patrol targeting dangerous and impaired drivers. Between 8:00 last night and 4:00 this morning, troopers issued 13 traffic tickets, 36 warnings and arrested two impaired drivers. Troopers also arrested a male for public intoxication and a juvenile for minor consumption of alcohol.
Arrested for Driving While Intoxicated:
• James Knox, 52, Evansville, IN (BAC .14%)
• Randal L. Wines, 20, Sandborn, IN (BAC .11%)
The Indiana State Police are committed to traffic safety and will continue to conduct saturation patrols and sobriety checkpoints to apprehend impaired drivers and to deter others from drinking and driving.
