Rivervale Road Stabilization Project is still on time and Rivervale Road is still scheduled to reopen by Friday June 10th at 5:00 pm. The contractor’s progress has gone so well in this phase that the final paving schedule has been rescheduled from late June to tomorrow, June 8th.

To complete the paving it will be required to close River Vale Road tomorrow from 7:00 am until 4:00 pm from Old Tappan Road to River Vale Town Hall. Upon completion of the paving at 5:00 pm, Rivervale Road will reopen from Old Tappan Road to Piermont Avenue. Rivervale Road (from Piermont Ave to Town Hall) will remain closed until Friday at 5:00 pm to allow contractor to complete the remainder of the work in that zone.

Officers will be on site to redirect traffic. Please plan ahead and allow extra travel time. Thank you for your continued patience.
