Crescenta Valley Sheriff's Station Detectives Request Public's Help Identifying Burglary Suspect
Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station Detectives are requesting the public’s assistance with identifying the pictured suspect. On 5/27/2016 at 4:40 PM, the suspect entered a local church in La Cañada-Flintridge and stole a cashbox, U.S. currency, and an envelope containing numerous personal checks. The suspect also forced entry into a kitchen by kicking open the door. After exiting the location, the same suspect was captured on surveillance video committing 2 vehicle burglaries in an adjacent parking lot. The suspect gained entry by throwing rocks at the vehicle windows. The suspect stole a diabetic kit, prescription glasses, car key to a Jaguar, photo copies of a Visa card, wallet, license, credit cards, and a cell phone from the vehicles. The cell phone was later recovered in the backyard of a nearby residence.
Suspect: Male Black, bald, 5’08”-5’10”, 230-250lbs, wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans, blue shoes, and black square-rimmed glasses
Suspect vehicle: Mid 2000’s Chevrolet Malibu, white, 4-door
