On June 8, 2016 at approximately 2:03 p.m., police officers from the Noblesville Police Department responded to the Buckle located at 13904 Town Center Boulevard (Noblesville) in response to a report of a robbery in progress. Officers arrived on the scene a short time later and began to investigate.

Initial information from the caller alleges that two black males came into the store and attempted to steal merchandise. The caller, who is also an employee of the store, alleges that he was battered by one of the suspects as he and another employee attempted to prevent the alleged crime from occurring. The caller went on to say that the suspects were able to flee the store; however, the caller was able to provide officers with a description of the suspects’ vehicle.

Officers initially established a perimeter and began to search the area for the subjects by utilizing motor and foot patrols. At approximately 2:25 p.m., officers on the scene were advised that the Fishers Police Department had located a vehicle traveling southbound on I-69, near 96th Street, matching the description of the suspects’ vehicle. Fishers Police Department conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and all of the occupants were questioned by investigators of the Noblesville Police Department. After further investigation, three (3) subjects were taken into custody and transported to the Hamilton County Jail and booked on the following preliminary charges:

Two (2) store employees reported that they were injured during the incident but both refused medical treatment.

This remains an ongoing investigation.
