On Thursday June 9, 2016 the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office investigated numerous break–ins of storage units located on CR 300 W south of SR 120. Numerous tools, lawn mowing equipment, generators, ATV’s, power tools, die cast collector cars, and a 28 foot Hal-Mark enclosed trailer with a custom Corvette paint scheme were stolen. It is believed the burglary occurred during the overnight hours of June 8, 2016.

If anyone may have seen anything suspicious in or around that particular area we are asking if you would please contact the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office at 260-668-1000 ext. 5000 or Steuben County Communications at 260-665-3131.

Steuben County has had several storage units broken into over the past few months. We have increased patrols to these areas however there are many of these facilities throughout the county. We are asking that anyone that observes suspicious activity around any storage facility, please call Steuben County communications at 260-665-3131 and report the activity immediately.
