HOLLAND TOWNSHIP MAN SENTENCED TO 180 DAYS IN JAIL
Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns, III announced the sentencing of Isidore Heath Campbell to 180 days in jail and 2 years of probation.
On October 19, 2015, the Holland Township Police were called to investigate a domestic violence incident. Mr. Campbell departed the scene prior to police arriving and was later charged with Aggravated Assault in connection with the incident. Mr. Campbell fled to Pennsylvania to obstruct the investigation and elude arrest. Mr. Campbell was later arrested by police in Shippensburg, Pa, on March, 11, 2016. He was transported back to New Jersey after waiving extradition.
On April 25, 2016, Mr. Campbell pled guilty to Obstruction of Justice and Resisting Arrest, both fourth degree crimes. In addition to the sentence, Mr. Campbell is required undergo a psychiatric evaluation with an assessment for batterer’s counseling.
