Advisory

Please help us identify these two flag thieves

The Campbell Police Department is currently investigating the theft of two American Flags in the early morning hours of May 31, 2016.

Surveillance video captured two suspects walking up to a home on Harrison Avenue. One of the individuals entered the fenced-in front yard, and stole an American Flag and flag pole. While making his getaway, he unsuccessfully attempted to jump over the 3 foot gate. The suspect can be seen and heard on the video laying on the ground moaning in pain. After limping away with the flag, the second suspect stole a different American Flag from a home down the street.

The suspects are described as white males in their 20’s. The suspect who fell during the theft, was wearing a dark colored t-shirt, light brown pants and a baseball hat. The second suspect was wearing what appears to be a blue Golden State Warriors t-shirt with dark pants. It is believed that the suspects were coming from one of the Downtown Campbell establishments and were most likely walking to a nearby home.
