Blood Drive and "GoFundMe" Account Created for Injured SVPD Officer
Simi Valley Police Motor Officer Tom Carney was critically injured during an on-duty collision on June 15, 2016. He remains hospitalized in critical, but stable condition. He has undergone multiple surgeries over the past few days and will have additional surgeries in the days/weeks to come.
To support his need for blood, members of the Simi Valley Police Department in conjunction with the American Red Cross and supported by the Simi Valley Unified School District have organized a blood drive that will take place as follows:
Date: Tuesday June 21, 2016
Time: 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Location: Simi Valley High School, Multi-Purpose Room
