Street Closures for 626 Golden Streets Festival

SOUTH PASADENA, CA – On Sunday, June 26, the City of South Pasadena will be participating in the 626 Golden Streets Festival. The main hours of the event are from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. The street closures are Mission Street, from Meridian Avenue to Garfield Avenue and Garfield Avenue from Mission Street to Huntington Drive. There are three soft closures, where traffic will be controlled by officers and vehicles will be allowed to pass in intervals. The intersections for the soft closures will be Fremont Avenue at Mission Street, Fair Oaks Avenue at Mission Street and Monterey Road at Garfield Avenue.

No parking signs will be posted several days prior to the event. The no parking signs will be enforced starting midnight on Sunday 06-26. Vehicles found along the street closures starting at midnight are subject to citation or tow. Be advised that overnight parking restrictions will be lifted on June 26. Mission Street between Fremont Avenue and Meridian Avenue will remain closed until 5:00 pm. All other closures will be reopened at 3:00 pm.
