THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR CENTRAL INDIANA.
.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.
OUTLOOK: THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS SOUTHERN AND
WESTERN PORTIONS OF CENTRAL INDIANA. WIDESPREAD SEVERE STORMS ARE
NOT EXPECTED...BUT AN ISOLATED SEVERE STORM CANNOT BE RULED OUT.
SHOULD ANY STORMS BECOME SEVERE THE MAIN THREAT WOULD BE DAMAGING
WINDS. LIGHTNING IS A THREAT FROM ANY THUNDERSTORM.
HAZARDS: DAMAGING WINDS...LARGE HAIL...CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING
AND HEAVY RAIN.
TIMING: THIS AFTERNOON AND AGAIN OVERNIGHT.
DISCUSSION: A COLD FRONT WILL DROP TOWARD THE OHIO RIVER TODAY
BEFORE BEGINNING TO RETURN TO INDIANA LATE TONIGHT AS A WARM
FRONT.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.
OUTLOOK: THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE AT TIMES THROUGH THURSDAY.
SOME OF THESE STORMS MAY BE SEVERE AT TIMES...PARTICULARLY
WEDNESDAY AND WEDNESDAY NIGHT...WHEN THE POTENTIAL WILL EXIST FOR
A WIDESPREAD DAMAGING WIND EVENT. DAMAGING WINDS WILL BE THE
PRIMARY THREAT WITH ANY SEVERE STORMS. HEAVY RAIN WILL ALSO BE A
THREAT...AND LIGHTNING IS A THREAT WITH ANY STORM.
STORMS WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE THIS WEEKEND. IT IS TOO SOON TO
DETERMINE WHETHER ANY OF THESE STORMS MAY BE SEVERE.
DISCUSSION: SEVERAL ROUNDS OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE THIS
WEEK AS MULTIPLE DISTURBANCES ROUND AN UPPER LEVEL RIDGE TO OUR
WEST. SOME STORMS MAY BE SEVERE AT TIMES.
