With the summer months upon us now, we would like to remind our citizens of the City of Noblesville’s fireworks ordinance.
1. You may use consumer fireworks between the hours of 5:00PM till TWO HOURS after sunset on June 29, June 30, July 1, July 2, July 3, July 5, July 6, July 7, July 8, and July 9.
2. You may use consumer fireworks between 10:00AM and MIDNIGHT on July 4.
3. You may use consumer fireworks between the hours of 10:00AM on December 31 and 01:00AM on January 1.
Also, you must shoot off consumer fireworks in your own yard and all the debris must land in your own yard. You cannot shoot off fireworks in the street and if the debris lands outside of your property this would be a violation of the ordinance even if you are in compliance with the date and times.
This time of year we get numerous complaints on fireworks usage, so please be courteous of your neighbors. Also, please be safe when shooting off fireworks. We hope that everyone enjoys the summer!
