Moderate Risk of Severe Thunderstorms this Evening. Potential for Heavy Rainfall Overnight

Hazardous Weather Potential... Isolated showers possible before noon - mainly south of US 24. Increasing humidity today will lead to a threat of Severe Storms this evening.

Timing of Severe Weather Tonight: Starting after 8PM and continuing through 1 AM Thursday. Widespread damaging winds are the primary threat. Wind gusts in excess of 60 MPH are possible. Hail up to 1.5 inch diameter is also possible.

Heavy Rainfall Threat: Heavy rainfall will occur late Wednesday into early Thursday morning. Rainfall amounts in excess of 1.5 inches are possible.

Thursday Morning: Showers and isolated thunderstorms are possible through noon on Thursday.
