Portsmouth Police Need Assistance Locating Missing Man
Detectives with the Portsmouth Police Department Special Victims Unit are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing man. According to detectives, 55 year-old Steven L. Freeman was last seen on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at his home in the 4200 block of Greenwood Drive at 6:45 a.m. Detectives are very concerned for Mr. Freeman’s well being because he suffers from several medical conditions that requires medication, which he does not have with him.
Steven L. Freeman is described as a white male that stands approximately 6’ tall and weighs 140 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Steven L. Freeman is asked to call the Portsmouth Police Department at (757) 393-5300 or the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP℠. As always, callers who call the crime line are never asked to give their name or testify in court. If their information leads to an arrest, the recovery of drugs or stolen property they could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1000.
