The burn ban is now in effect in and around the greater Lake Tahoe Truckee area until we receive significant moisture in the form of rain or snow. Feel free to utilize our local resources for your defensible space needs. In the Town of Truckee is the green bag program along with yard waste disposal at the Eastern Regional landfill when you haul yard waste, max of 6 yds per property. Call any of the local defensible contractors for help with your yard waste clearing.
