5th Homicide suspect apprehended
On 6/23/2016, Nash County Sheriff’s Office Detectives located the 5th suspect identified in this homicide investigation. The investigation began on June 17, 2016 at 8:00AM, where members of the Nash County Sheriff’s Office responded to 13360 W. Old Spring Hope Road. Once on the scene, Nash County Sheriff’s Office Deputies found Tony Maurice Braswell Jr., 21, deceased as a result of a gunshot wound. Nash County Sheriff’s Office Detectives were able to identify and arrest four participants. Shandon Lamond Perry was the fifth individual that was yet to be arrested. Shandon Lamond Perry was taken into custody without incident on 6/23/2016.
Shandon Lamond Perry, 34, B/M was charged with one felony count of Accessory Before the Fact to Felony and one felony count of Conceal or Failure to Notify Death of a Person. Perry received a $50,000 secured bond and is currently in the process of posting his bond. Perry’s first appearance is set to 06/28/2016 in Nash County District Court.
