FATAL TRAFFIC COLLISION 
On June 26, 2016 at about 1:54 a.m., the Corona Police Department responded to the 1400 Block of W. Sixth Street regarding a vehicle verses pedestrian collision.
Upon arrival, officers found Hugo Guzman, a 34-year-old of Montebello; lying deceased at the intersection of Sixth Street and Smith Street. Officers located a gray Toyota Corolla with collision damage that was being driven by Timothy Herrera, 36-year-old of Buena Park.
The initial investigation indicates the Toyota was heading westbound on W. Sixth Street and entered the intersection at Smith Street striking Guzman.
The Corona Police Department’s Collision Response Team responded and is handling the investigation. There have been no arrests made in this case, as of yet, and it is unknown if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the collision.
