SCAM ALERT-Phone calls asking for money-Targeting Seniors
In the past two weeks the Plymouth Police have been notified of multiple instances where Senior Citizens have been contacted by a person claiming to be their grandson or daughter. The caller will say they've been arrested and need help. Another person gets on the phone claiming to be an attorney or the police asking for bond money. The amounts asked for have ranged from $2,000 up to $8,000. Please talk with your family, friends and neighbors about this scam to get the word out.
