Fireworks sale and use within Sebastopol city limits start today 
For all those who enjoy fireworks, the sale and use of them within the city limits of Sebastopol begins today at noon, 06/28, and ends 07/04. The times they can be used from are 8:00am to 10:00pm weekdays and 9:00am to 10:00pm weekends. Ending hours are extended on July 4th, with an end time of midnight.
The city welcomes fireworks, but as reminder fireworks cannot be used in any city park and is a City Ordinance violation. Anyone located with illegal or unsafe fireworks will be subject to citation or arrest, depending on the level of violation.
The Sebastopol Police Department hopes everyone enjoys the safe use of all legal fireworks and asks that each person is mindful of everyone’s safety, including their pets and other wildlife in the area. If you do participate, it is a good idea to have both a personal and family plan for injury or fire, in the event the unforeseen occurs.
