Nashville – (Brown County) Today, just before 4pm the Brown County Sheriff’s Office 911 Center received numerous calls about a Recreational Vehicle travelling eastbound on State Road 46 near Green Valley Road with smoke coming from its rear. The driver of the vehicle, Mark Laffoon from Davenport, Florida stated the vehicle had lost power while driving but he was able to pull into an empty parking lot.
Once Laffoon exited the RV he observed it was on fire near the engine area. Laffoon was able to escape without injury.
The RV was a total loss.
