Attached you will find the traffic flow for the Independence Day Parade and Festival/Fireworks plan from the Noblesville Police Department. Please review this information to make things much easier for your commute on July 4th. Starting at 4:00PM on Monday, July 4th, the roads surrounding the attached parade route map will be closed off and reopen as the parade passes each point. We suggest you arrive early so that you can avoid the traffic jams and find a good place to watch the parade route if you choose to attend. The parade will end around 5:30PM to 6:00PM. If you do not plan on attending the parade, we suggest you avoid the downtown area as there will be traffic congestion from the road closures.
At the conclusion of the parade, the Noblesville Independence Day festival will take place on the Noblesville High School Campus. The festival will have games, food vendors, and a live band. The fireworks will begin at approximately 10:00PM whenever the fire department gives the “all clear.”
At the conclusion of the fireworks, you will be directed out of the high school campus from the routes attached to this post. There will be NO ALTERATIONS or accommodations given to the traffic flow pattern due to several thousand citizens being in a small area. Please take a close look at the Independence Day Fireworks exit plan attached so you can plan on which lot to park in ahead of time.
Please bear with us on the fireworks exit plan as we pre-plan traffic flow ahead of time make sure we get everyone home as safely and quickly as possible from the high school campus.
