St. Joseph County – Members of the Indiana State Police Drug Enforcement Section and the DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) recently concluded a five month investigation with the search of three South Bend homes.
The South Bend SWAT team assisted the two agencies executing the search warrants shortly after 6:00 a.m. Tuesday morning. The three homes that were searched are located at 205 E. Victoria, 1514 Fellows and 526 S. Jackson in South Bend.
As a result of their search, investigators seized three guns to include a handgun, shotgun and an AR-15 style rifle. They also found methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and ammunition.
The search warrants were obtained after undercover officers purchased more than a half-pound of powder and crack cocaine during their investigation.
Authorities are expected to file both federal and state charges against multiple suspects involved in the investigation.
