06/13/16 WTPD arrested James Cason, age 52, of East Stroudsburg, PA for a $112.00 warrant out of Patterson. On 06/13/16 at approximately 6:19 PM, patrol conducted a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 31 in Washington Borough. The officer’s investigation revealed that the vehicle’s driver, Mr. Cason, had an outstanding warrant. He was processed, issued a motor vehicle summons for careless driving and released with a new court date.

06/15/16 WTPD arrested Steven Snook, age 22, of Washington, NJ for an outstanding $400.00 warrant out of Newark. On 06/15/16 at approximately 12:53 PM, patrol was on location at Quick Chek, 350 Rte. 57 W. in Washington Township when the officer was approached by Mr. Snook who advised the officer that he has a warrant for his arrest. The officer confirmed the warrant and took Mr. Snook into custody without incident. He was processed and released with a new court date.

06/17/16 WTPD arrested Ricky Trimmer, age 40, of Washington NJ, for simple assault and harassment. He was processed and lodged in the WC Jail in lieu of $500.00 bail.

06/17/16 WTPD arrested Noreen Powers, age 59, of Washington NJ, for harassment and a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. On 06/17/16 at approximately 3:57 PM, officers were dispatched to the 20 block of Plane Hill Rd. in Washington Township for a disturbance. The officer’s investigation resulted in Ms. Powers being charged with harassment for repeated 9-1-1 calls and a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. She was processed and lodged in the WC Jail in lieu of bail.

06/20/16 WTPD arrested Jason Knutson, age 47, of Washington NJ, for disorderly conduct and a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. On 06/20/16 at approximately 2:15 AM, officers observed Mr. Knutson in 100 block of E. Washington Ave strike a street sign. Mr. Knutson was taken into custody without incident, processed and released with a mandatory court date.

06/21/16 WTPD arrested Cristobal Margarin, age 65, of Brooklyn, NY for a $350.00 outstanding warrant out of Tinton Falls. On 06/21/16 at approximately 9:59 PM, patrol conducted a motor vehicle stop on E. Washington Ave in Washington Borough. At that time, the driver, Mr. Margarin was found to have the outstanding warrant. He was processed, issued a motor vehicle summons for failure to observe a traffic signal and released with a new court date.

06/21/16 WTPD arrested Joseph Bailey, age 30, of Washington, NJ, for a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. On 06/21/16 at approximately 10:08 PM, patrol was dispatched to the Draught House, 268 Rte. 31 N. in Washington Township for an unwanted person. Upon the officer’s arrival and subsequent investigation, it was revealed that Mr. Bailey had been asked to leave the establishment but he refused to leave. Mr. Bailey was taken into custody without incident, processed and released with a mandatory court date.

06/23/16 WTPD arrested Christopher Olswfski, age 43, of Washington NJ, for hindering apprehension, a $500.00 outstanding warrant out of Washington Borough and a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. On 06/23/16 at approximately 2:36 AM, patrol was conducting property checks of in the 40 block of W. Washington Ave in Washington Borough when they encountered Mr. Olswfski. The officer’s investigation resulted in Mr. Olswfski’s arrest for an outstanding warrant after he had provided the officer with a false name. He was processed and lodged in the WC Jail in lieu of $500.00 bail.
