RETAIL BURGLARY 
On 07/02/2016 at 7:00 am, Avondale Estates police officers responded to a forced entry burglary at a retail business in the 3200 block of Covington Highway. Unknown suspect(s) broke a window between the hours of 2:30 - 6:30 am and made entry to the business in an attempt to remove cash from a store ATM. Suspect(s) damaged the ATM but were unable to access the money storage area. The alarm was set but did not activate due to the location the suspect(s) made entry and exit. No other items are reportedly missing at this time.
