Press Release: NPD #1600-2825 Burglary Investigation & Arrest (Best Buy, 17200 Mercantile Blvd., Noblesville) 7.3.16
On July 3, 2016 at approximately 3:19 a.m., police officers from the Noblesville Police Department responded to the Best Buy, located at 17200 Mercantile Boulevard, in response to a report of a business alarm. Officers arrived on the scene a short time later and began to investigate.
Upon arrival on the scene, officers reported that they could hear voices near and around the building. A few moments later, officers stated that they observed a vehicle speed away from the scene with no lights on. Officers activated their emergency lights and sirens and attempted to stop the vehicle. The vehicle failed to stop and a vehicle pursuit ensued. The vehicle pursuit lasted approximately five (5) minutes and ended when the suspect vehicle crashed near the intersection of Greenfield Avenue and Boden Road (Noblesville). Officers reported that four (4) suspects ran from the crashed vehicle.
Officers from the Fishers Police Department, Westfield Police Department and Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department assisted with a search of the area utilizing motor and foot patrols. Police K-9 units were also deployed in the search for the suspects. Officers were able to locate three (3) subjects believed to be involved in the incident. A fourth suspect remains at large.
All three (3) captured suspects were transported to the Hamilton County Jail and booked on a number of preliminary charges.

This remains an ongoing investigation.
