Traffic Stop Yields Two Arrests
Vigo County—This morning at 10:58, Indiana State Police Meth Suppression Troopers stopped a blue 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier for throwing burnt material from the car (cigarette) and a faulty brake light on 6th Street at Crawford Street in Terre Haute.
During the investigation, troopers discovered approximately 2.5 grams of suspected methamphetamine, approximately 3 grams of suspected marijuana, syringes, and assorted paraphernalia inside a bag within the vehicle. The passenger was also found to be wanted on a probation violation warrant from Vigo County. Both were taken to the Vigo County Jail.
Arrested Driver: Amanda R. Hancock, age 23, of Terre Haute, IN.
Charges: Possession of Paraphernalia and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.
Arrested Passenger: Ashley A. McMickle, age 25, of Brazil, IN.
Charges: Possession of Methamphetamine; Possession of Marijuana, Dealing Methamphetamine; Dealing Marijuana; Possession of Paraphernalia, Possession of Hypodermic Needles.
The arrest was made by ISP Meth Suppression Troopers Shilo Raulston, BJ Patterson, and Adam Edwards. Assisting was ISP Master Trooper Jason Owen.

Under the Law, criminal charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
