Alleged non-compliant registered sex offender Steven Hawn turns self in to Steuben County Jail. 
On 07/04/2016 just before 11:30 pm, 31 year old registered sex offender Steven J. Hawn of Angola surrendered himself to the Steuben County Jail on an arrest warrant charging Hawn with one count of failure to register as a sex or violent offender, a level 6 felony. The warrant comes after a Sheriff’s Office investigation into allegations that Hawn failed to report a change in required information within the lawful time period. Hawn was booked into the Steuben County Jail and remains held in lieu of a $10,000.00 bond.
