Currently there is a small vegetation fire along the river corridor near Squaw Valley. There are air resources from CALFIRE, Engines from US Forest Service, Squaw Valley Fire, Truckee Fire and North Tahoe Fire are on scene. Appears to be contained at approximately 1 acre. Be careful when traveling thru the the area for possible traffic delays. Go to Readyforwildfire.org for information on defensible space and evacuation plans.
