*Update* Shooting Death Investigation, 300 block of Figueroa Drive, Altadena, #LASD @ALDHQ
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Homicide detectives are responding to the 300 block of Figueroa Drive, Altadena, to investigate the shooting death of a child and an injury to a male adult.
The victims were transported to a local hospital where the child was pronounced dead and the male adult is receiving medical treatment for his injuries.
There is no further information available at this time.

LOCATION: 300 Block of Figueroa Drive, Altadena
SUSPECT: Unknown
VICTIMS: 1 Child (male), 1 Adult (male)
UNIT: LASD Homicide - Lieutenant Corina
NARRATIVE:
At approximately 10:50pm, Deputies patrolling the area of the 300 block of Figueroa Drive, Altadena, came across two victims, a child and an adult, with apparent gunshot wounds. Deputies immediately requested emergency medical assistance.
Both victims were transported to a local hospital in unknown condition.
The circumstances that led up to the shooting is unknown. Deputies continue to scour the area for information and evidence in an effort to identify a suspect (s) in this crime.
As a result, deputies have contained the area of Olive Avenue and Figueroa Drive, in Altadena. We ask the public to stay clear of this area, as the investigation continues.
As we obtain more information for the public that will assist the investigation, we will update accordingly.
