Washington County Man Arrested for Child Solicitation

Washington County-Yesterday afternoon, troopers from the Indiana State Police Post at Sellersburg and deputies from the Washington County Sheriff’s Department executed a search warrant at 90 Eastern Park Blvd., Lot 22, in Pekin, IN. The search warrant was executed after a lengthy investigation conducted by troopers from the Indiana State Police and deputies from the Washington County Sheriff’s Department.

During the investigation it was learned that William R. Knight, 44, from the above address was allegedly having social media chats with a 10 year old female encouraging her to physically touch him in a sexual manner.

William R. Knight was arrested and booked into the Washington County Jail on one count of Child Solicitation, Felony.

This investigation is continuing.
