Thunderstorms are expected to develop across western South Dakota this afternoon and track east across the state. There is an enhanced risk of severe storms along and south of US Highway 14. The main threat will be strong and damaging winds, however large hail and frequent lightning may also occur. The severe weather threat north of US Highway 14 becomes more isolated.
