Driver Arrested for DUI and Possessing Meth after Discarding Cigarette from his Vehicle
Pike County – Early this morning at approximately 3:30, Trooper Manning stopped a 2000 Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck on I-69 near the 48 mile-marker after observing the driver discard a burning cigarette from his vehicle. The driver was identified as John Fish, 47, of Bedford, IN. A female passenger was identified as Talia Blake, 34, of Freedom, IN. While talking to Fish, Trooper Manning observed signs of impairment. Further investigation revealed Fish was under the influence of methamphetamine. During a search Manning found meth inside the vehicle. Fish and Blake were arrested and taken to the Pike County Jail where they are currently being held on bond.
