MEDIA ADVISORY

ALL MEDIA ORGANIZATIONS ARE INVITED TO ATTEND

WHAT:                    Sons of The American Legion, Indiana Detachment, Laying of the

                                  Wreath.                                   

WHEN:                    Friday July 8^th, 2016 beginning at 4:00 p.m.

WHERE:                 Indiana State Police Memorial and Eternal Flame, 8660 East 21^st

                                  Street, Indianapolis IN 46219.

WHO:                      Chris Carlton, Commander of the Sons of The American Legion,

                                  Detachment of Indiana. Governor Mike Pence, State Police

                                  Superintendent Doug Carter, Officers and members of The

                                  American Legion family and branches of the U.S. Armed Forces.

WHY:                      To honor those troopers and employees of the Indiana State Police

                                  who have lost their lives in the line of duty.

The event is expected to conclude by 4:30 p.m. Media should be setup on location by 3:45 p.m. This event is open to the public.
