On Saturday July 9th the Township of Florence will be celebrating its annual Patriotic Day Celebration. The celebration will begin at 11:00 AM with a flag raising ceremony at 5th and Oak Street. There will be a parade starting at 12:00 pm that will begin at Olive Street and East Fifth Street. The parade will continue onto Delaware Avenue to Front Street to Broad Street coming to an end in the area of Broad Street and Sixth Street. During the parade all above mention roads will be closed to vehicular traffic and both sides of the roadway will be posted no parking.

At 6:00 pm vendors will be open in the rear parking lot of the Florence Township Municipal Building.

A concert will begin at 6:00 pm in the Waterworks Park.

The event will conclude at dusk with a fireworks display at the Waterworks Park located on Broad Street. There will be handicap parking in large parking lot next to municipal building. Additional parking in the rear of Waterworks Park off of Summer Street.

Rain Date for the fireworks only is July 10th.
