Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns, III, announced that fire investigators from the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office and the Holland Township Police Department are investigating a residential house fire that occurred on Walden Road in Holland Township on Saturday night.
The fire appears to have started on the rear exterior portion of the house. The structure sustained severe damage but no injuries were reported. Fire companies responded from Hunterdon, Warren, and Bucks County, PA. The fire does not appear to be suspicious and the cause remains officially undetermined at this time. The investigation is ongoing.”
Responding agencies from Holland Township Fire Department, Milford Fire Department, Pattenburg Fire Department , Quakertown Fire Department, Frenchtown Fire Department, Bloomsbury Fire Department , Sergeantsville Fire Department , Alpha Fire Department and the Upper Black Eddy Fire Department. The Hunterdon County Fire Coordinators, New Jersey State Fire Marshal and Hunterdon County Tanker Task Force also responded. The Milford-Holland Rescue Squad and Clinton Rescue Squad also responded to the scene.
According to Prosecutor Kearns, “I commend the volunteers for their quick response to this fire. It is a testament to the dedication of these men and women to see so many fire companies and rescue squads from multiple Counties and States come to the aid of their fellow volunteers and keep our county safe.”
