An Open Letter to Stratford Residents:
The career of a police officer is usually one that is filled with disappointments, horror, sadness and death. But there are glaringly bright moments in an officers career that far overshadow all the problems we face each day.
Saving a life, easing the pain of the innocent, breaking the big case, and most simply being appreciated by the citizens we serve. It seems on the surface to be such a simple thing, yet so few of us show it. That is why the numerous warm and heartfelt tokens of appreciation to the entire Stratford Police Department, by so many of our citizens is so gratifying and refreshing.
THANK YOU ALL for taking the time to show these officers they are appreciated, THANK YOU ALL for reminding me of the high caliber of personnel that work for STRATFORD, and THANK YOU ALL for supporting your Stratford Police Officers, a task that so many would find unthinkable.
