Community Tips Lead to Arrest for Meth
Vigo County—This afternoon at 3:05, Indiana State Police Troopers from the Putnamville District Meth Suppression Unit descended upon a residence at 360 W. Taylor Dr, West Terre Haute, to investigate community tips alleging possibly methamphetamine activity at the home.
During the investigation, troopers could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from the residence. Upon further investigation 15 grams of suspected methamphetamine was discovered. Also discovered was nearly 2 grams of marijuana.
Arrested: George E. Cheesman, age 50, of the address.
Incarcerated in the Vigo County Jail
Charges: Possession of Methamphetamine, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Possession of Paraphernalia.
Arrested: Mary E. Marshall, age, 43 of the address
Incarcerated in the Vigo County Jail
Charges: Dealing Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of
Paraphernalia, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Dealing Marijuana.
The case was investigated by ISP Meth Suppression Troopers B.J. Patterson, Shilo Raulston, and Adam Edwards. Assisting were Vigo county Drug task force, and West Terre Haute Police Department.
