***POKEMON SAFETY***
The Red Oak Police and Fire Department would like to share a request with those members of the community regarding the newest Pokemon Game that started a couple days ago.

As a result of the recent game, the Red Oak Police and Fire stations have become a busy spot for members of the community to either stop on foot or in a vehicle to catch these virtual Pokemon characters.

During this time frame it has been noted that this is taking place at all hours of the day / night. We have observed vehicles parked in our parking lot and people walking around the exterior of the stations and we want to remind everyone that we want you to use CAUTION as we need to provide SAFETY for our MEMBERS and YOU as the community.

At any given time, Police or Fire units may receive emergency traffic and have to depart the police or fire department. Over the last couple of days, we have had several calls where our first responders have found members of the community parked / standing in our parking lot causing a dangerous situation from those RESPONDERS arriving and EMERGENCY EQUIPMENT leaving the stations.

We want those participating in this game to have fun, however we want you to do it SAFELY and remember to be courtesy to our members and respect our facilities.

We ask that you please share this request with your family / friends / children to assist us spreading the word and happy hunting.
