Upcoming Police Training at Emerson Junior High School Campus 
On 07/20/2016 and 08/03/2016 the Davis Police Department will be conducting training on the Emerson Junior High School Campus. The training will begin at approximately 8:00 am and will continue throughout the day.
As part of the training, Police trainers will be using firearms that discharge blank cartridges, and noisemaking explosive devices. These devices are commonly used in police training and will be monitored and deployed by Davis Police Firearms Instructors. Their use is essential for creating realistic scenarios for our first responders.
