Grand River will be closed on 07/16/2016 from 8:45 AM till approx. 12PM for the Founders Parade and Run. 
The City of Farmington annual Founder's Festival Parade and 4 Mile Run will take place on 07/16/2016. The run starts at 9AM at Shiawassee Park (Power Rd side) and encompasses a 4 mile run through out the City of Farmington. At 10AM the Founder's Festival Parade will start at Grand River and Power and head west through downtown. Grand River Ave will be closed at 8:45 AM from Orchard Lake to Gill Rd to accommodate the Parade route and run. The parade route will stay closed till approximately 12PM. Alternate routes are advised.
