Press Release: Bones Found On Madison Township Identified
Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones and Middletown Police Chief Rodney Muterspaw report that human skeletal remains located on a Madison Township Farm 4 days ago, belong to 30 year old Lindsay Bogan. A Forensic Anthropologist determined the bones were human. Dental records compared by a Forensic Odontologist confirmed who they belong to.
Ms. Bogan has been missing since September 13, 2015. In March of this year, Middletown Police Department determined this critical missing case a homicide investigation. She was last seen getting into a silver Dodge Durango on Central Avenue at Baltimore Street in the City of Middletown. “No one should be thrown away like this, said Lt. Langmeyer. That is exactly what someone did to this woman. We are finding out more in each stage of this investigation and we will work diligently until we find out who did this to her.”
The focus now will be justice for Ms. Bogan. “Since the discovery that it is Ms. Brogan, we are working jointly with the Middletown Police Department to solve this case. We want closure for the family members and to put anyone responsible, behind bars, where they belong. The investigators still have a lot of work to do,” said Sheriff Jones.
Sheriff Jones asks that anyone who has information regarding her death to please contact Lieutenant Todd Langmeyer at the Butler County Sheriff’s Office or Lieutenant James Cunningham with the Middletown Police Department.
