Advisory
Red Flag Warning for Monday July 18th from 10:00 am to 6:00pm for high winds with low humidity
The National Weather Service issues RED FLAG warnings when weather conditions could cause extreme fire danger. Possible dry lightning, high winds, hot and dry conditions are expected in our area. Winds could cause a wildland fire to grow quickly out of control.
Extreme caution is necessary including no open flames. Hot engines from weed eaters, mowers and chains saws can start fires. Campfires should be out and cold to the touch. Report any smoke immediately to 911.
Everyone should have an evacuation plan to save time in the unlikely event of an evacuation. Law Enforcement and Fire agencies will communicate any fire activity including evacuations though this Nixle system, reverse 911 and local media.
