Assistance needed in identifying grand theft suspects

The Campbell Police Department is currently investigating a theft from a vehicle and the fraudulent use of a credit card which occurred in the evening of July 19th, 2016.

Around 6:00PM property was taken from a vehicle parked at Dell Park in Campbell. Immediately following the theft, the victim’s credit cards were used to purchase items at the Target on Hillsdale Avenue in San Jose. The two subjects depicted in the surveillance image were associated to the fraudulent transaction.

The Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a similar incident, which occurred on the same day, where credit cards were taken during a window smash vehicle burglary at the Cupertino YMCA parking lot. A short time later, the same two subjects were caught on surveillance making fraudulent transactions with the YMCA victim’s credit card at a Target in Sunnyvale. The vehicle depicted in the surveillance image was the vehicle associated with the theft at the YMCA.
